Curb the Quackery in Dermatology ITAQ Activities and Its Efficacy in Dermatology

There is a tsunami of quackery in dermatology. As per figures, hardly 19% dermatologists are medical council recognized qualified dermatologists.
IADVL Task-force against Quackery (ITAQ) formed in the year September 2017, is working very hard to curb quackery in dermatology in India.
Each one of us need to be alert now and start working on anti-quackery activities so that community/common people will get alert and will be able to choose right Doctor for their skin and cosmetic treatment.
Health Authorities in India, Medical Council of India (MCI) and different State Medical Council has assured to ITAQ that they will taking necessary actions.
People need to know who is right doctor, what are the legal qualification to label them as recognized dermatologists in India.
IADVL members are always MCI or State Medical Council recognized dermatologists and people can safely go to an IADVL member without any doubts in their find for evidence-based skin treatment.
